Website Creation Thus Far!

Hi there I am actually amazed at what a cool website that I have been able to create in such a short time here at Wealthy Affiliate. I think the community support here makes so much difference to being able to gain some feedback on pages that you create and send out onto the web. Not to mention the great training.

To be honest I was a bit over wordpress sites as I had used them before and so was not really interested at first. However, Wealthy Affiliate has proved me so wrong. The wordpress sites really do make it much easier and very importantly soooo much quicker to create and manage a website. At first I thought it was to do with the fact that the wordpress sites are a bit more user friendly now than they were... but I realise that they are the some pretty much, of course there are some supercool add ons, however it was really my attitude to them that has changed.

I have created a whole website surrounding my passion for the Dalai Lama and his teachings. The website has a forum and a member log in. I managed to create html to make buttons that can be used to link pages. I also managed to navigate the site to get it looking pretty much how I would like it.

There were a few technical hiccups with the members add on and the Forum page, have managed to work the settings out for that. Thanks to the wordpress support pages for the different wordpress themes.

All in all I am pretty chuffed with the whole site and look forward to writing the many blogs I have already planned for the site. I am also looking forward to creating a site that will make some money in the future!
