Hi, Not knowing the websites or able see it--- I would not advise but I will tell to look at the lessons and read through and see if you can pick up on anything to help you. --I would send a PM to Kyle and ask for help ---Or use the ( what are you looking for search here at WA ---If you would post the URL we could see what you have and then maybe offer some advise ---
Thank you for your response. I am a little shy about posting my website in public, but it is a travel website with hundreds of unique high-quality articles and interviews, illustrated with photos and video clips. I have been thinking about publishing a newsletter for a long time, but somehow have always been scared of it. Somehow I am thinking that publishing a newsletter would make the most sense, given the social contacts I have built. I have also sent Kyle a message on this. Thank you for your input.

Welcome to WA. Everything you need is here to make your existing site a success and produce better results. If you love the subject of your site then stick with it.
I recommend going step by step through the Certification courses.
These courses lay out all the steps to building a money making website from nothing, some of the steps you will have already done but going through it from the beginning will fill in any missed elements.
By the end of all 4 of them you should see great changes in your site's performance.
Thank you, Stacy, for your comments. I am so glad to hear that with the knowledge provided by WA, I will have a chance to turn my website around. It's so encouraging to see other members come forward and be so supportive of another new member. I really appreciate it and will continue working on my certification courses. Thanks a million!
Hi three summits, - I agree with the others. I also think you definitely done the right thing coming here to WA. Do you realise what you have now?! You've done all the work already, you have a fully developed website and years of experience, - so you're already well ahead! As the others have said, - if you follow the training courses here at WA, - adapt your content a bit, - write all your new content according to the SEO principles and market your site, - I'm sure you'll see revenue in next to no time! Well done you and good move! :)
Thank you, Avecita, for your comment. It is so wonderful to hear that with the tools I am going to be learning here at WA I will have a chance to turn my existing website into a success. The web presence I have built is my passion and truly my life's work, but I need it to be my livelihood as well. I think I have come to the right place to make that happen. Thank you so much!!!!
Absolutely you have. Especially given that this is your passion- that's the ideal way it should be really, and you deserve it to be your livelihood. All the best. I'll be watching you succeeding! :)
Once again, muchisimas gracias, Avecita, for your comment. I can really use the encouragement right now. I have been frustrated for years with the lack of revenue and paid outside "consultants" to try to help me with no real success. I am aiming to get my own knowledge here at WA so I can take charge of my own and my website's destiny. Te agradezco mucho por tus comentarios y te deseo un buen dia...
Thank you, David _S, for your great comments. One of my key issues is traffic building, and I hope the courses I just signed up for yesterday at WA (I am a brand-new member) will help me turn my website into a success. I really appreciate your feedback...
Hi there. I understand you not wanting to reveal your site at the moment, and that is completely normal. Here's what I can suggest, to help improve your sites revenue.
Look up affiliate programs related to your niche.
Since your niche is travel, try searching for 'travel+affiliate programs' in Google. This will give you a bunch of affiliate programs to work with, and you can pick the one most suited for you.
Revenue is nothing without traffic.
Here at Wealthy Affiliate there is some really really excellent training on SEO. Take your time and work on your site bit by bit. This was the same method I followed with my site and I got great results. As you make your website more and more SEO friendly, you'll notice your rankings improving and your visitors doubling.

I absolutely believe you can turn your website into a huge success :)
Thank you so much, Krishna, for your help. I really appreciate it. I have to admit, I have never been passionate about link building, traffic building, revenue generation etc. and I have focussed all my efforts on content generation. Last year and this year, for about 10 months, I even paid an SEO company to help me get my site ranked better and while we got us up to page 26 in Google for keywords like "Mexico travel", "Italy travel" etc. these were very competitive keywords dominated by some very large players. I could no longer afford to pay an outside company to help me, so I figured maybe WA will be able to help me to acquire the skills to do it myself.
I really really appreciate your input. Thank you so much.
I would put your website down so others can see it and give you more insight as well, what the niche is about.
Thank you so much for your response. I am a little uncomfortable, laying it out there in complete public at the moment. I can tell you that my niche is travel, I write articles about personal travel experiences, interview other travellers, hospitality entrepreneurs and tourism experts, and I also have a section about interesting & inspiring life journeys. As you can see, the website came about as as total passion of mine and was never laid out for SEO / traffic building / revenue generation. And I am still as passionate about it today as I was 8 years ago when I started it. Altogether I have almost 800 pages of content with photos, video links etc.
I understand being uncomfortable but we are here to help one another not bash anyone or say your site sucks etc. There is training here that helps with monetization methods, so check them out and see what you can incorporate. As well, look at other sites similar to yours (i.e.) competition and see what they are doing to monetize their sites.
