Up and running but no traffic !
Hello fellow Wealthy Affiliate members
I have been spending a lot of time going through class after class.I have been working on the tasks
and I have learned a lot. All this is very interested and sometime I go through it again and again. I really enjoy it.
Now I have two websites up and running but I do not have any traffic at all. I know the secret of
ranking is in the content and the keywords and maybe that is my problem.
Because English is not my primary language I have some difficulty writing the content and sometimes I copy too much from others. Maybe the trouble is something else. I don´t know.
I also know that a website is never ready or never finished. I am always adding new post or page. I am
always testing new things like Google AdSense, Google Analytics, Google Authorship and so on and so on.
I need help. I would like to ask you to have a look at my websites and help me to find out what is wrong.
Why am I not getting any traffic?
Am I doing something vitally wrong?
Am I misunderstanding the concept?
Please Help. Can you please have a look.

Thor…I looked at your first website and left a comment for your visitors to read. My suggestion would be to check the keywords of your blogs to make sure they are reaching the "low hanging fruit" (see training) You have good content, but is it competing with the more popular sites who are on the first several pages of google. Also, be careful about using too many images and ads in a single blog. Continually rework your pages as per advice in the trainings and comments from long-time members. Success will come and the work never ends.
Hi Thorhallur, I'm by far no expert...yet...but I like the layout of your sites. For the most part, one wouldn't know of your non-English heritage, if it weren't for the odd misstep here and there. Have someone work with you a bit on that. How long have your sites been active? Getting traffic is something that I've been eating, drinking and sleeping over for quite some time now. It's been elusive for me too. One day up, one day down. As anyone will tell you, it comes from your articles rising within the ranks of Google...through promotion. Getting the word out is what you need to do. Promotional advice is everywhere! Like you, I'm here to learn as much as I can, and as eager as you are right now, try to go slow and not take on more than you can handle. I had two websites going within my first month. One of them has suffered because of that, (in terms of traffic...and content to an extent). As long as you have the dedication and the drive, it's going to pick up. Best of luck!!!!!!!!!!
You mention in your article that you copied content from others. You will not rank if you copy content. Find someone whose English reading and writing is better than yours to proof read your content and make suggestions. I noticed in your study network marketing website that there are some word misspelling that needs to be corrected. Debbie
One another suggestion is that you respond to comments. I see there is a comment in the WA review from Oct 31 and it has not been responded.
