Should I Change It Or Not? Yeah, Talking About My Website!

Okay, here we go!

I've been doing a lotof SEO over the last week and also writing some posts. Making a little head way, but I think I need to make a big change.

I am usually the first one to say "Don't delete content!", but maybe I should here, I'm just not sure. My site focuses on handmade boots. This is what I started off on when I first joined WA. I was doing hiking boots, work boots, and cowboy boots. Men and women alike. But I have pretty much spent most of my time on just cowboy boots. I've actually made a little bit of money off of it also. Seems good right? Maybe not.

Too Broad, Do I Need To Focus On Just One?

I was thinking that maybe for my site, I should just forget the work and hiking boots. It's really not getting me anywhere and seems to be a waste of my time. Plus is it too general and not specific enough of a niche for the search engines in my opinion?

Would I be best just to do Cowboy boots from now on?

Should I delete the posts that don't deal with cowboy boots?

Should I just leave the non cowboy boot posts there and forget about them and hope they don't hurt my rankings for the site?

These are the questions I'm faced with. I wrote this hoping to get some guidance from the WA community. If you want to look at my site DM me and I'll send you a link, but I think you can get the gist of what I'm talking about from this post.

I'm pretty much gonna take the whole day today and work on internal linking between posts and make sure I have at least one link in each post that points to another post.

I would appreciate any recommendations, input, advice, criticisms (constructive of course), anything at all.

Thanks, be safe, and wash your hands!

I'd leave them all. In fact, by the time you write many, many posts on cowboy boots you may find you have nothing else to write about. Then expanding to other kinds of handmade boots is a natural way to go.

It is not always easy to find enough subjects for a narrow niche, after you have been established for a while. You may find later that you are glad you have those other posts.

Variety doesn't hurt it's still in the same realm I would have different pages for each though. Keep in mind Cowboy boots is on a large scale by itself I mean most places you buy them that's all they sell. I'm new here so you might not take my advice just a thought.

Thanks. I don't mix the content between the boots in the posts.

I’ve washed my hands.....Think I put the wrong comment in the wrong box and you disapproved been trying to track you down to apologise. Had too many windows open on my iPad and got confused😂

As to your question not sur they will hurt you ranking do you make any money off them and what does your keyword research tell you?

🧐

I've only made some money off the cowboy boots so far.

No worries about the comment that I assume you are talking about a comment you left on a "Site Comment" that I requested. I've had to reject a couple here and there.

Yeah not bothered about the rejection.

I think your readers are signalling🧐
