The Chaotic Existence
Solving problems. It is inevitable that problem solving is a part of life. When a solution is devised and implemented, other issues will come up thus creating a "problem".
Recognition
In recognizing the problem at hand, whichever it may be, small or large, it is the beginning of the process. This can be a long-drawn-out process depending on what the problem is. Let's say a group of engineers are getting together to draw up the plans to build a bridge. This could be looked at as a problem, but more realistically pertaining to this is a project that needs to be well thought out with as much foresight as possible. Inside the beginning stages, problems will come up due to the fact that, first and foremost, peoples safety is and should be considered from the construction workers building the project to the end result of the passengers driving, walking, bicycling etc. on the bridge. And continued maintenance.
Safety
In order to insure safety, the recognition of what any venture is taken upon, if safety is not in the minds of those doing the work, than a safety problem is going to arise. We all are doing some kind of "work". How safely we choose to operate usually is not at the forethought of our primary goal. There has always been the hope of all going well and gaining ground in the financial realm. With the newly and ever growing fields of insurance and health care industry's, is this a sign of recognizing the problems of lack of forethought that have risen from the previous generations? And with these fields growth, would or could it lead to the only fields of work because now we're thinking about the future and health too much? And not living a fluid flow of life that is more enjoyable when emerging into a rigid structure that is an unnatural existence?
Approach
Now that the recognition of safety has been established, how do we approach this. People have become more sensitive to things concerning their personal space and especially their personal being. Respect should always be the primary function when dealing with individuals, groups. Treat someone as you wish to be treated. It is something that everybody wishes for and really should be a second nature and not something that constantly is an issue. For where this is at in today's world, the "money holder" has the upper hand. If the "money holder" is not comfortable with how something is going, the outcome or the individuals right to operate as they wish, however such, is subjegated to the "money holder". Then the lack of respect is there due to the ultimate fact that mutual respect on every level is not possible due to people living their lives as they wish. So, the approach of the "money holder" is one of control. Once an individual earns his or her's liberation by accruing enough money to break away from the controller, they can and probably will still see themselves in the "grip" of another control mechanism just because that is truly how things are. But at least with looking at the financial aspects of things, it is nice to be able to have your own space and to be able to be yourself in that space.
Control
With the above bridge scenario and the possible situation(s) that can arise, control seems to be the main factor with concerns of safety. There are so many variables to consider when trying to control safety. Being overly cautious can lead to injuries as well. So the fine lines of balance are always challenged by what people want to do. Whether it may come to doing something better and more efficient, going against a model that has been in place for many years and the company not willing to do things the better and more efficient idea proves to be. Then the individual's confidence is brought down by the lack of the already set foremat not seeing the lack of forethought that has not been acknowledged by the old outdated still existing model. So now the individual's confidence is lowered by firstly being denied, secondly, having the "manipulative factor" have the upper hand by being previously established and proved to work over the years and being the "money holder". And thirdly the individual will be constantly under demand for performing bigger, better with the reminder of the "double talk" that ends up the same. Interestingly enough how this exists on such a subtle subliminal level due to the ego. So safety is always compromised in this fashion and really does not discriminate between personal or business relationships. Although these things probably do come up, with certain profesional groups, that on the surface appear to be all good, are probably not on the level of "publicly advertising" the drama, and is probably very small and irrelevant in the end. There are the few and far between that do not have this going on because the natural flow is there. Going with what works is great and the willingness to bend but not break are key, along with not compromising the self too much.
Conclusion
Inside the existence is another existence. Being versatile and able to do many things is a plus and can greatly improve the chances of survival by being versatile. This in turn brings the safety factor out of the first, foremost thought strictly because of survival. As I stated about being too safe, well the fact that we have to get up and start our day is a point proof to that. By taking in so much information through media saturation, it proves the point that the "outside" world is more dangerous than has been in the past. Or is it? The fact of media saturation is a good way to look at how the "fear factor" has set in because of the media machine that's going 24/7/365. So facts are facts and it really comes down to knowing what the individual is capable of, and implementing that strategy. Some people are good at managing others, from five people to five thousand, let's say. Others are good, better at low overhead and are self motivators that know themselves through different life experiences. So safety concerns do exist of course and they always have, but it seems as though it is something that needs to remain a concern because if there were no safety concerns, then would everyone be in complete "bliss", or total Anarchy?
