Time, The Enemy?
Time, the enemy?. Hmmmm. Yes, the enemy? You may say, "why is time the enemy"? Well, it is an invention of man that puts restrictions upon what we can and cannot do, what we are allowed to do, what we choose to do. The "night" time is always more dangerous to be out. It's TIME to get up and go to work. We have breakfast at 8:00am, lunch at 12:00pm, noon, and dinner at 5:00pm, just like....yes you guessed it, clock work. Conditioning, over "time". When you're working on your projects, others that are not utilizing their time get flustered because you are working on your "time", not the 9-5 "time". Many other examples of being "tied to time" are evident.
As far as being the invention of man, this is a matter of perspective. When studying the subject, it can be seen this way. From the Gregorian calender being modified from the Julian calendar, which evolved from the Lunar calendar which is around 354 days, the Zodiac, binary.....many factors will give support to this idea. In observing this "idea", I have concluded though, that the Zodiac, the constellations, are more so the true time tellers along with Sun dials and Moon cycles. Although the constellations do move, they stay in their formations. Also, looking at how the old world built the megalithic structures, it can be noted even THAT method of time slips. The Angkor Wat temple in Cambodia was built to track the Sun's path from the Spring Equinox to the Winter Solstice. With modern technology they have been able to date back to the best they can conceive to when it was built, configure the Sun's path, and compare it to how the Sun travels through the sky now and how it is not exactly aligned with the points that were built initially to track the Sun. Also, to note that looking at the many accomplishments throughout the old world, they had high intelligence on different levels. Due to "experts wording", that we couldn't build those structures today with our technology and machinery, and yet with the contrary view of the "modern man" being smarter and more advanced, we cannot explain how these were built? I;m pretty sure that some people out there do know. Take a look at how Coral Castle was built in Florida if this sparks your interests.
Other evidence of the inconsistancy of time is that I have conducted my own experiments. One being that I compared my digital clock to an hour glass and the results were different. I ran it more than a few times and concluded that time IS fluidly inconsistent. My experiment was simple. I turned the hour glass when the minute changed on my digital clock, and took note when one or the other stopped. I logged my results for three months and the results averaged by 8 minutes apart. My other experiment was that I tracked the time on my phone compared to the digital clock, in the same time frame, and also averaged 8 minutes apart.
Considering if time is the enemy, that really depends on what we do with it. It is incredibly elastic. Some people achieve "unbelievable" things in their lifetime and others not such. And with everybody having the same amount of time in the format that it is placed in, 24 hours in a day, 60 seconds in a minute etc. And I will say, luck does play a part in peoples lives along with many other factors. Down time is the key along with motivations. If people have too much down time then accomplishments will be at a minimal, but doesn't reflect necessarily, the individuals "worth". Networking and flow of the circuit, associations, relations are a strong factor for achieving goals. Some people can multi-task like no tomorrow and be stagnant and some may be good at one or a couple things, and be in the fast lane. There really is no formula, basically to each their own, but in my view it really depends on what you truly want. There is so much variety and opportunity out there !!!
Here at the Wealthy Affiliate platform, time is endless. There is no time. As I stated above the examples of restrictions, here is where we can all choose the time we want to blog, work on our websites, etc. because of the awesome 24/7 365 day access that WA allows us to participate in. Like the NY stock exchange that closes at 5, the China stock exchange is just staring its day, as an example. The "wheel" of time keeps on rolling !!!

I Like time. It can work for us or against us. When we use it properly we can accomplish most anything we begin.
And here are my thoughts. I follow the Solar Calendar. In my belief, it is the only accurate calendar. Stonehenge built 2500 BC to 3000 BC, is still accurate today on the Vernal Equinox, the first day of the year.
And when we come back to this same day in 25,920 years, the Procession of the Equinox, that alignment in Stonehenge will remain.

Just the title anyways. It did it's job for attracting readers, that is, I hope you read the whole article.
Yes, I realized I didn't finish my thoughts before I posted a few minutes later.
From the moment I sit down at this computer until I sign off 6, 8, 12 hours later, there is no clock around me. And I never think about the time unless I have business elsewhere. And the alarm on my phone reminds me. I have been doing this for several years before WA and have had far much better results than before.
