Bicycles Are Serious Fun
Bicycles are fun for all. If there is anyone out there that doesn't like riding a bike, they must not have ever ridden one. Or maybe a bad spill. Regardless, I think they are really fun. One of the funnest parts of bicycling is going downhill. It is a little work to get up that hill, but it is worth it for the fun of the exhilaration of going downhill. Especially on a cool summer evening when the air is perfect. Well, maybe a little muggy depending on where you live, but the air rushing over your skin is intensely eye widening. Remember to wear riding glasses for that matter on a side note. Bugs at even a bicycling speed can hurt and possibly even do some damage. And there are blue books for them. Who would have thought?

There are many sites out there to find value of your bike and many options for selling. From the first bicycle made which was named the Velocipede, made in France in 1791, to the collector market ranging from the old style with the big front tire and small back tire named the Celerifere and made entirely of wood, to 1970s styles with "apple", "banana" seats, BMX, off-road/on road. Brand names like Schwinn, Mongoose emerged within the modern styling that have become what the basic "norm" is as far as design. Beach cruisers, touring bikes, rock hoppers, you name it, there is a bike out there for anyone. So not to mention the classic antique bikes of old strictly, there is a blue book on anything and like anything else, the better, well-kept to originality the bike is, the more value it will bring.
Safety
Nowdays with how most everything has been intensified with speed and more fluid motion for maximum fun, it's important to remember safety. Safety gear has become just advanced as the bicycles themselves. Some old school guys like to go "commando", no helmet, pads etc. which there really isn't anything wrong with that, just casual riding, but should be kept in mind that it is probably best to stay within the neighborhood and off trails. And to always watch for cars no matter where one is having fun riding their bike.
