Thank you to everyone here at W.A.
I'd like to start by saying how wonderful it is to be a part of such a proactive and knowledgeable community. And I mean 'Knowledgeable' in a collective sense... because most of us are the green-horns looking to tap into the endless reserves of informative gold here at Wealthy Affiliate. We come from all walks of life, vary wildly in age, and are all looking for something more, something tangible and real.
The internet is a place for communities, and more importantly, communication. That's what got me started- a steadfast burning to share what I had experienced in this life so far. I started a blog-site about 2 years ago to do exactly that. I wrote my little heart off. I talked about the trials, the tribulations, and of course the tragedies that led me to a better place. It may sound strange to you that I say the trials, tribulations, and tragedies 'led me to a better place', but they have, all because I chose to learn from my mistakes instead of allow myself to use them as an excuse.
That blog-site was about personal growth and all the wisdom that comes from life, even when it is tragic and horrifying, as long as we are willing delve deeply inside of ourselves and see just what it is that makes us tick. After all, its always about the inner working, the 'behind the scenes, the intricacies that are seldom seen and therefore overlooked.
It's the same thing here at W.A., we are being given an in depth look at the way things really work online. The intricacies, the behind the scenes, and the tricks of the trade are all here. All the times I felt that hopelessness creeping in- thinking that maybe I just didn't have what it takes- I was missing a crucial piece of the puzzle; the inner knowledge that allows strategic and proactive movement in a positive direction.
It took me 33 years to get to know myself well enough to blog about the lessons I'd learned. I've only been a member here since October 28th, and here's my first blog!!
So I'd like to personally thank everyone here for demystifying the inner workings of the inter-webs so a green horn like me can make heads or tails of this mess!
