Hi Honourable Ladies and Gentlemen of WA
I am putting my first website together and i need to correct my website URL/domain name but I am stuck. Any helpers out there pl
Are you using the free SiteRubix domain name or have you purchased your own domain name?
As you are a Premium Member, if you are using the free SiteRubix domain, you can create a new subdomain and "Move" your curent website to the new corrected name.
If you have purchased your own domain name, these can not be changed, as you pay for these in one year cycles. But what you can do, is to purchase a new domain name, followed by "Moving" your website to the new domain name.
If your current website is live, indexed by the search engines and receiving traffic, then I would leave the old website in redirect mode, for 30 days, before deleting it. If the current website is very new and is not receiving any traffic, then by all means, you can delete it straight away, after you have completed and verified that the move was successfull.

Still a novice, it was to do with the Site Title and I managed to change it by logging into the website; then went into Dashboard, Settings and General Settings, then I was able to do the correction.

If you've purchased a domain name & made a misspelling or something, you'd need to purchase a new one if you wish to change it.

Still a novice, it was to do with the Site Title and I managed to change it by logging into the website; then went into Dashboard, Settings and General Settings, then I was able to do the correction.
