I’ve not seen many Affiliates or Affiliate Programs that are focused on a Geographic Location. I’ve not seen many Affiliates or Affiliate Programs promoting a live in-person event.

Is the “local” Event Industry an un-tapped opportunity?

I’ve been involved in the Event Planning Industry since about 1986. (That is a long time)

Live in-person events (fairs, festivals, concerts, conventions , tradeshows etc)

People have been gathering at events for centuries… UNTIL the 2020 Covid lockdown. March 2020, events STOPPED DEAD around the world.

Event Promoters are still struggling to get attendance, exhibitors and sponsors.

Is there an opportunity here for Affiliate Marketers?

Back in 1991, I created and produced an Event Planners Tradeshow. It ran from 1991-1998, then I stopped and then built another company from 2004-2012, then took a break and start ANOTHER expo company in 2019 and then in 2020 covid stopped it all.

I’ve not had the energy or motivation to build it alone again.

Last night, I was attending an Event Planners Event and in conversation with some of my colleagues we agreed… it takes a TEAM. A team of people all focused on the same date, time and location.

Is there an opportunity for Affiliate Marketers here?

Are there Affiliate Marketers with skills, savvy and knowledge to laser target a geographic radius of a city and bring awareness to a Special Event or Tradeshow?
