It Is Going To Snow!!

Last Update: November 19, 2014

Ok not for real down here in South Africa...

a- Because we don't really get snow unless you closer to Lesotho and other areas where the mountains are. Still nothing like other countries though

b- It's Spring here right now... Although a cold front came through and it has been quite friggen cold over the last few days! There will be a massive problem with the world if it Snows in Africa in the Spring time.

No... None of those reasons are the cause for the pending snow... The real reason in fact is that I just sent out an email to my email list!! Whaaaaat??? I know right!

Why is this such a massive task that warrants a blog post.... And snow?

Well because I suck at sending mails...SUCK AT IT!! In all my years of online marketing the email list is the one area I have really slacked at... If it is such an important thing in building an online business then it truly is a miracle I have made it this far without taking it more seriously!!

That is all about to change as I start building a new effective habit around it! I'm getting good at building habits now and I have discovered something quite remarkable with regards to building habits over time...

Yes of course I am going to reveal my revelations later... You know the drill.. A little bit of news, then suspense and then the full story... Come on why are you acting so surprised? :P

Oh if you on my list you will probably hear about my discovery and what's so awesome about building habits sooner than anyone else in the world... I'm just saying... ;) *Hint hint, get on the list hint hint*

Fantastic... Hope you all have an incredible day...I will touch base here and there... I have however given myself a ridiculous deadline to finish racinglinemortorsports.com by the end of the week and launched on Friday!

Wish me luck and to all those on my email list already... Enjoy the tip and your new found freedom waiting for you on the other side of the 3 step action plan I gave you.

Rohan, my heart skipped a beat when I read that headline. I grew up where there was tons of snow and that was cool as a kid because when we got a foot of snow, schools were closed. However, as an adult, I had a new perspective and once I lived down south a while --- well, let's just say I've become a wus according to my friends and family. Headed that way next week and I've been stress eating already. I told the kids I wasn't comin' up if it snowed (they still live in that madness) but they know I'd drive through a blizzard.
SO, now ..... will be looking for your email.

lol... I hope you are at least stress eating healthy foods?

Snow is still fun for me because it's so rare I am like a kid in it... I think if I had to live in it every year I may change my mind...lol.
I think the driving it in is not so much fun and not something I have any experience in at all.

Good luck and will be holding my thumbs for you that it turns out smooth sailing!

Stress eating does not equate with healthy foods!!!!! I've gained 3 lbs.

Be sending me positive thoughts Monday am (my time).

It's been snowing constantly where I am. I think I will have to use my snow blower this morning. The drift is terrible.

Good luck with your email list.

I am in Michigan. Ours is not as much as that of Buffalo, NY, yet. I'm looking out the window right now and the snow plow is clearing the street, and the entrance to my driveway is getting higher with snow. I hope my snow blower works or else I'll have to do it the hard way, with the shovel. It is cold and windy. It is supposed to snow all day.

My son lives near Buffalo and I'm heading up to NY next week. I'll be white knuckled if it's snowing. You poor thing. I heard it's going to be a tough winter this year.

We'll, I hope it won't be like the last winter. It looks like we're beginning to see the sign of a harsh one, though! It's no fun driving in it.

Be well prepared for your trip.
"Enjoy" the white stuff, Debbi! Be safe.

All this talk of snow, harsh winters, driving in snow etc sounds like great inspiration to get those home based businesses up and running ;) A possible angel for marketing and showing some benefits of working from home ;)

Thanks for the inspiration.

That sounds fantastic!! I'm in!! How far is Buffalo away from Toronto?

LOL. Buffalo (according to MapQuest) is only about 99 mi and an hr and 40 min away from Toronto. This is where the huge storm was. My son (about your age probably) and Labman (from WA) both live in Rochester which is about 169 mi and 2 hrs and 50 min away from Toronto. My son has gone up to Canada to ski and you would probably get along well. He's single too. I now live in VA. I turned wus and hate snow. Are you going to Toronto?

1 hour and 40 mins seems like a very long time away especially with the high chance of having to drive in snow... I think I will rather fly there ;) Didn't know Labman stays there too... Awesome, wil make a plan and visit him as well... hehe

Would love to meet your son one day and I need a snowboard buddy even he ski's :)

I will be going to Toronto at some point. My daughter lives in Ontario and when I go visit her, I will make a plan to come visit you guys as well.

My son does love to snowboard. So, you're whining about 1 hr 40 min and I have to drive 8-9 hrs to get there? See why I'm stressed?

That is brilliant!! I am sure we will have an awesome time... And I can totally understand your stress... I know nothing about snow driving... yet ;)

Firstly, the weather here is definitely behaving peculiarly, or is it just my imagination.......? You remember that commercial tune ....
"sunny skies and Xo@!&$*#+?"....... well I think the local marketers of the vehicle may have to change that!
Anyway that list...how do I get on it?

Most certainly not your imagination unless we are in the same matrix ;) haha.

I don't actually remember that tune... When was that aired ? lol Maybe there is a youtube clip of it?

There is a pop up window on my website http://dropthehammertime.com Fill in your email and it will put you on the list :)

Maybe braaivleis, rugby and the car will compensate for the lack of Sunny skies? LOL
