Setting up my rubix site.

So I put in something like a more serious entry on rubix site. I think I could use some feedback on how it looks/works.

Basically I'm using the one site to link to another, more for SEO purposes than anything else. But somehow I feel that I'm totally missing something with it.
In other news, I've figured out the klick on my avatar trick to get to my blog stuff :D

Well, you need to add content. Give some reasons as to Why someone would want to buy that product from Anik. What is it about? You need to be able to convince people this is something that is worth their money. But, you will get there. Just follow the training and your site will be looking great before you know it.
Thank you :) Ok, so I've basically copied the original post from the main site. I'm not sure though if that runs the risk of a Google slap for duplicate content or not...
Hi Richard
You cannot just copy an original post from another site. Yes Google counts it as duplicate content and it is unlikely to be indexed but more importantly you have just plagiarised someone else's work and they could chose to take action against you. Your content has to be original and if you use some information from other webpages you have to cite the source.
As Sherion says - follow the training.
:) Beverley
Yes, it is duplicate content. Since Beverley answered this I won't go into more. Make your website your own content.
The content is written by me, on my other site. If you look, at the very top are two direct links to my main site. One of the goals is to get backlinks that I control, and another objective is to create a wheel around the hub site. Those aforementioned backlinks are like spokes back to the hub.
I've upgraded to premium now, so I've got a few more tasks to do. Maybe I'll have a better idea of what I'm missing in a couple of days :)
