Motorcycle Safety Gear, the Prequel - A peek into prepping to "Go FAST!"

As most have figured out by now, I love to ride motorcycles. Wait, that's an understatement. I love to ride motorcycles FAST. But what I don't like to do is fall while riding fast. Unfortunately, you can't always control whether you will fall or not. But one thing you can control is whether or not you are wearing motorcycle safety gear if you should fall.

Here is an excerpt from my recently published page "Preparing to "Go FAST" - Motorcycle safety Gear 101, Part 1":

"Helmets may be the single most important piece of safety equipment that you may ever need. Head trauma is inevitable in motorcycle accidents but its up to you how serious the damage is....Suits also come in 1 piece and 2 piece sets allowing for the choice of wearing one piece or the other. Inside the upper portion of a well made suit you will find protection/armor for your shoulders, elbows, forearms, chest, back....never ever get caught wearing shorts....Exhaust pipes reach temps over 250 degrees and can melt skin in a fraction of a second."

Pretty important info for any new uninformed rider regardless if they plan to "Go FAST" or not. Better safe than sorry is what I say.
