The AI Revolution is Here. Don’t Let It Make You Boring.

Everyone’s talking about AI like it’s some kind of solve all product available on Amazon. They think they can push a button, churn out a thousand blog posts, and retire to a beach in the Maldives.
I am not going to sugar coat this at all. Here is the cold hard truth: If a machine can write it without you, it isn't worth reading and your wasting your time, so be kind and don't do that to your readers.
The internet is being flooded with "perfect" content. It’ll be grammatically flawless, logically sound, and completely soul-crushing to read. It’s the digital equivalent of a beige wall at a rent house. Everyone has that and I want a blue wall!
If you want to build a business that actually lasts, you can’t just use AI output, you have to out-human it and add a bit of your soul to your content.

The Intern and the Expert
Think of AI as a hyperactive nerd who’s read every book in the library but has never actually stepped outside. This nerd is great at fetching data and organizing files, but you’d never let them talk to your best client alone because he is a dork.

When you "combine" AI and human editing, you’re the boss. The AI does the hard work of gathering facts and building the skeleton. Your job, which is much more important, is to give that skeleton some skin, some muscle, and a pulse. I do not want to compare you to a deity, but you bring it to life.

How to Stay Human in a Robotic World
- Stop "Polishing" and Start "Roughening": AI loves to smooth things over. It rounds off the edges until everything sounds like a corporate brochure. Real life has edges! Don't be afraid to sound a little annoyed, a little excited, or a lot honest.
- The "BS" Detector: AI is a world-class liar because it doesn't know it's lying. It just predicts the next word. If you don't fact-check your "partner," you’re building your house of cards.
- The 80/20 Rule: Let the machine do 80% of the busy work: the outlines, the summaries, the basic drafts. But that final 20% is the jelly filling and where the money is. That’s where you add the stories about your years in the trenches and the experiences you have lived.
Allow me to introduce you to the AI + Human Workflow. This will either confuse you or help you stay grounded.

My Verdict
AI isn't going to replace editors or writers. It’s going to replace the ones who refuse to do the work of thinking for themselves and sharing their insights and experiences.
The internet is full of crap already, we don't need more content. We need more clarity and more honesty in our online world. We need people who can take an idea or problem and explain it to someone looking for a solution in a way they can understand it. You should always provide value over becoming a vulcher and going straight for the wallet.
Use the tools. Use the tech. But for heaven's sake, keep your hands on the wheel and don't AI control you or your content.
Are you using AI to hide your voice, or are you using it to shout louder?
