My Dream for AI Within Wealthy Affiliate

I have not written a polarizing rant in a while.

Maybe it is time to clear my head before I bite my tongue off. I have learned my lesson from using raw AI and am making it a mission to awaken others to the benefits of learning it as well.

I have seen the errors in my ways and the improvements in my content by adding my soul to my post.

So please bear with me and allow me to clear the air so my OCD does not flare up like a wildfire in the high winds.

Hold my coffee and Bailey's, and off I go!

In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., "I have a dream."

I, too, have a dream.

Mine isn't about race, politics, or any of the things that usually divide people.

My dream is for people to learn how to use AI to speed up the creative process rather than use it as a crutch.

Lately, I've been seeing a lot of AI babble floating around our beloved Wealthy Affiliate platform. Post after post, just minutes apart.

Many of the articles say the exact same thing under different titles.

Not everyone is doing it, and thankfully, some members are starting to speak up.

Not in a harsh way.

Not to embarrass anyone.

They're simply trying to help people understand that there is a right way and a wrong way to use these tools.

Some people are still generating an entire article with an LLM, changing a few words, and calling it original content.

It is not.

And when someone points it out, they're usually not attacking you. They're trying to help you.

AI can help you write faster, research faster, organize your thoughts, build outlines, and get unstuck when your brain decides to take the day off.

It can save hours of work if you learn how to drive it instead of letting it drive you.

Used incorrectly, it becomes an anchor holding you back.

People constantly ask about AI detectors.

Honestly, I don't need one.

After you've read enough articles, AI becomes obvious.

It has a rhythm and a pattern of its own.

It explains things too perfectly, and rarely wanders off course.

It in no way sounds like a real human being sitting at a keyboard sharing their own experiences.

Human writing has rough edges, some rougher than others.

It has personality, sometimes upbeat, and sometimes bland.

It has stories, and it has opinions.

Sometimes it even has mistakes, and that is fine, because humans make them.

AI doesn't naturally do those things.

The future doesn't belong to people who blindly copy and paste AI output, changing a word or two.

The winners aren't going to be the folks hitting copy and paste. They're going to be the ones who learn how to wrestle this thing into sounding like themselves.

So if you're using AI, take the time to learn to use it properly.

Don't let it replace your voice.

Use it to amplify your voice.

Use it to accelerate your business instead of holding it back.

Create useful content that includes you as the main character in the story you are telling.

Help someone else solve a problem or answer their questions.

Share what you've learned, not what GPT learned.

Trust me, I'm not standing on a mountain preaching here. I was guilty of it too.

When I first started using AI, I thought faster meant better.

I learned the hard way that readers can tell the difference between content that came from me and content that came from a machine.

Once I started injecting my stories, opinions, mistakes, and experiences into my writing, engagement changed dramatically.

In the words of a computer, "End Of Line...."
