Make Benable Work For You
Benable is more than just a place to drop product links; it’s a platform where the right mix of strategy, your personality, and consistency can turn you into the go-to name in your niche. If you’ve ever scrolled through trending lists and wondered how those creators keep showing up, it’s not luck. They’ve built systems for visibility, engagement, and trust. With the right approach, you can do the same, and in this guide, we’ll break down exactly how to rise through the ranks and become one of the most-followed creators on Benable.
Define Yourself
It all begins with your profile. Use a High-Quality image of yourself so people can relate to the person making the recommendations. Build trust!
Your Bio should be short and focused. Quickly introduce yourself and make an impression.
Build Authority with Strategic Lists
You do not need a million different lists; you need high-demand, evergreen topics with SEO and viral potential. You can use Google Trends to see what people are searching for. Look for spikes, but also look at trends over time. Search the past year to find what people are interested in. Below are a couple of list types.

List Types That Work on Benable:
- Trend Chasers – Seasonal or viral TikTok/Instagram products (fast traffic boosts).
- Evergreen Essentials – Year-round problem-solvers (“Best Gifts for Fishermen” or “Small Kitchen Appliances That Make Life Easier”).
- Niche Deep Dives – Ultra-specific, loyal audience grabbers (“Coloring Books by Age,” “Astronomy Gear for Backyard Stargazing”).
Just like a blog, your list format should:
- Have SEO-friendly titles that people search for.
- Use strong, personal comments on each item.
- Include a mix of affiliate & non-affiliate links for trust.
Non-affiliate links can be to an article that provides value to your suggestions, whether it is a how-to use it, or further information. Not everything should be something you intend to sell. Providing helpful information helps your list gain authority.
Master the Traffic Game

Benable list do get indexed by Google and Bing, but to be effective, you need to send traffic there as well! This is where your marketing skills, which you learn here at WA, come into play. Some examples:
Daily Traffic Sources:
- Pinterest – Your #1 friend for visual lists. Create vertical pins linking directly to your lists.
- TikTok/Instagram Reels – 20–30 second product spotlights with the Benable link in your bio.
- YouTube Shorts – Quick demos or “top 3” product videos that push to your Benable page.
- Facebook Groups – Share your lists in niche communities (no spam, offer genuine value first).
- Reddit – Answer questions in relevant subs, link to your list as a resource.
Turn Visitors into Followers
Beyond your blog, I have not yet found a way to get subscribers for your email list. However, there are other ways to convert visitors into loyal followers.
- Use one master Benable link in all your bios, so people see all your lists.
- End each list with “Follow me for new finds every week” to build repeat visits.
- Update lists regularly so followers keep coming back.
Scale Fast
Like any other content you create, you need baseline content. You also need to be consistent in creation to stay on top.
- Aim for 2–3 new lists per week for the first 60 days.
- Each list = 15–50 products.
- Use a trending and evergreen mix so you don’t have traffic dips.
- Collaborate with other Benable users to cross-promote your content.
Track & Optimize
You need to keep an eye on your list. Make improvements as needed and remove things that are not working. I have removed an entire optimized list after rethinking my strategy. This will help me in the future because even though they were optimized, they did not conform to the way I currently create lists.
- Watch your most-clicked product, move it higher up on your list.
- Duplicate high-performing formats for different niches (“Best Gifts for… [Audience]”).
- Replace underperforming products with more effective alternatives.
Play the Long Game
Popularity isn’t just traffic spikes; it’s consistent relevance. Utilize your marketing skills to promote and maintain your list, ensuring it remains relevant in the future.
- Using your Blog, build an email list of followers who want updates.
- Create a recognizable style so people spot your lists instantly. (See Track & Optimize for why I removed lists.)
- Keep your niches tight enough that people know exactly what to expect from you.
Like any other form of affiliate marketing, Benable is not rocket science, but the steps you take in the beginning and in the future can either make or break you. Please take my advice: focus on providing valuable and practical recommendations that offer value to people seeking solutions.

@michael, so is this sharing existing affiliate links in a list; or does Benable provide the link? I am sure that is clear to people who are used to the affiliate side - but its just not clear to me... I will spin it up and check it out regardless. Trying to see if this shortens any steps or adds new steps to what I have am setting up...
They are aligned with thousands of programs and you can use theirs. I have ran across some they are not affiliated with and in those cases, I use my own.
I haven’t tried Benable yet but this is interesting. I’m wondering how well it could work if you don’t already have a big social following. Do you think it could still be effective if I built lists in my coffee niche and included both Amazon affiliate links and links back to my website?
Also, when you use Google Trends for ideas, do you find that trending lists perform better than evergreen ones, or is it good to mix both? And for list length, do they really need to be 15–50 items or can a smaller, more focused list still get results?
Sonia
Benable list can and sometimes do get indexed by Google. SEO titles are a good idea. It can be used within your niche. You can suggest machines, coffee brands, filters and cleaners, cups, and even informational blogs.
Just like blog post, the more detail you provide the easier it is to get optimized. So I would shoot for at least 20 per suggestion list unless you build a top 10 list of some sort and really work on your SEO to make it a super useful list.
Michael
Thanks for this, I am doing good with my 3 list so far but have not had time to add a lot of links or think strategy. Still I have 3 sales in 3 weeks for a little under $7 in commissions.
