Google Killed My Prepper Website. Now I Wish I Never Walked Away

I once had a prepper's website. Then a Google Algorithm update killed it. Instead of fixing it, I killed the site and moved on. I am now kicking myself in the rear.
Let me be clear, this is not a political post. It is the world in which we currently live that I am writing about.
Anyone with a pulse and breathing knows that the USA and Iran are having an argument about nuclear weapons. It is disrupting shipping routes because Iran is trying to stop shipping in international waters in the Strait of Hormuz. The big news everyone is watching is the oil prices. I am looking past the oil.
Hundreds of ships are parked and waiting. They are loaded with goods. Things we need, rather than just oil, like plastics, liquid natural gas, and fertilizer, to name a few. Without these supplies, there will be trickle-down effects to industry, and we will soon feel it even more. Eventually, when the farmers do not get their fertilizer, the food supply will be a factor. Then what?

What is a prepping website? TruePrepper helped me define it by saying:
A prepping website is an online resource dedicated to emergency preparedness, self-sufficiency, and survival skills. These sites offer guides, gear reviews, and tips for handling scenarios ranging from natural disasters to long-term power outages, helping individuals stockpile food, water, and essential supplies for safety and peace of mind.
Do you see where this post is heading? The longer this conflict goes on. The more the food and supply chain will take a hit. Less food equals higher prices. Higher prices means inflation. Inflation means more civil unrest. And eventually, the food system may collapse. It is a nightmare the world is not ready for. We all hope this does not happen, but it is a possibility.
I have a friend who sells shelf-stable food for a popular company, and I can last a year on what I have tucked away. And hailing from Texas originally, I have the power to protect it, if you know what I mean. (hehe!) I will be fine.

So preppers, the very thing you write about may be about to pay off as people scramble to survive. It is your time to shine. The world and conflict have granted you a pass on the success train, and the conductor is screaming, "All Aboard!" I wish you luck and a happy creation fest!
