Stop Chasing the High
If you have been reading WA post recently, you have seen people talking about trends on social media. Most people treat social media like a slot machine. Slot machines work off of random number generators and wins are never guaranteed. Yet people click publish and still hope for a fortune.
They post some trendy dance or a "hack" they found elsewhere, pull the lever, and pray for views. They think they will go viral and get 4 trillion views.
It could happen, but will it? Doubtful!
I wish share my opinion with you, virality is a flash in the pan. It brings you a crowd of strangers who don’t care about you and numbers that don't pay your mortgage. If you want to build something that actually helps you grow, you have to stop performing and start being useful.
The "Asset" Mindset

Here is a quote you should see and consider:
"Don’t chase a viral moment; build a library of value. A post that solves a problem today will still be working for you two years from now."
Think about that for a second. While the "viral stars" are stressing out about the next trend, you could be building an army of content that never sleeps. Something helpful that never expires.

Build an Army of Content That Never Sleeps
When you solve a real problem for someone, whether it’s showing them how to fix a technical headache or how to pick the right fishing lure, you aren't just "posting." You’re creating an viable asset. You’re becoming the person they look for when they have a question.
Why "Useful" Beats "Famous"
- Trust is the currency: People don't buy from the moron jumping around in pajamas and bunny ears; they buy from the one who helped them when they were stuck.
- The long game: A viral video is dead in two days. A helpful "how-to" is still getting found in search results two years from now. That’s how you build a business that doesn't require you to be "on" 24/7.
- Keep it simple: You don’t need a film crew or a fancy studio. You just need to be clear and honest. You need to remain consistent when posting and set a schedule.
The End of The Rant
Stop looking at the "Like" count and start looking at the "People I've Helped" count. If your content doesn’t help someone or solve a problem, it is just clutter on your page. Build a library. Become the one with the answer to a problem, and realise the money follows the value, and not the views or likes.
Keep it simple. Just be useful.
