Back in the USA today after a whirlwind trip.
I traveled to Windsor, Canada just across the border for a short time to attend a Gen Z Micro Wedding in which I knew nobody besides my wife and her friend. This made it fun, because I am an ass at times, especially at the afterparties. After the ceremonial crap, we went to the reception.

I had the Salmon and it was great, but some weird cheesy rice had me questioning life choices because it was awful.

The booze was flowing and the people around me was rather loud. Shortly after the first dance, the mini MMA event began. Family infighting was brought out by members of the grooms family making this a memorable day for him that he will not soon forget. Or his new wife will not allow him to anyway.
Lesson learned, balance is key, and never drop your guard. It ended in a unanimous decision. TKO in under a minute. The sad part for me was I did not even have time to place a bet. Such is life.
After the fight, my wife went out for drinks with the girls and I crossed the border to my playground for the evening. I went to MGM Grand Detroit. I go to MGM properties enough, my rooms are always comped so since it was so close, staying there was a no brainer.

This picture got me in trouble. Another valuable lesson learned. First, do not allow your wife to see you play a $100 pull slot machine. Second, if you are already in trouble, remain silent and quit answering questions. She knows my love for cognac and then realized I was sipping on Louis Tres and smoking a Cohibas (Non-Cuban).
I think the win is the only reason I am still among the living and writing this now. Overall, it was not all that bad of a stay even though I do not care for the city of Detroit. One hand pay and another 3K on Baccarat made my night.
The best part of the weekend? My sites were all up and doing their thing. I was able to walk away and not even having to bother to think about them. This was a great feeling.
That was my weekend in a nutshell. Until the next adventure.
