Unless you have been living under a rock, you have seen several posts about Benable lately. Have you wondered how to create a list that actually gets clicks? Here is my go-to saying: "Funny You Should Ask!!!"
Benable is a simple but powerful way to share product recommendations. The problem? Most creators just throw together a random list and wonder why nobody clicks. It is my intention to change this by providing tips and suggestions on how I operate and some simple steps I use to create my own list in an Amazing way.
If you’re using Benable as part of your affiliate marketing strategy on Wealthy Affiliate, and think you can do better. Here’s a simple checklist I use that usually gets instantly optimized, grabs attention, drives clicks, and brings in commissions.

1. Choose a Specific Niche
You've likely seen this before if you have a pulse and are active on the WA platform! The narrower your focus, the more it connects. Instead of “fitness gear,” try “home workout gear for small apartments.” Specific lists feel personal and useful. Make sure it is narrow enough to stand out from the crowd.
2. Write a Hook That Grabs Attention
Smack them in the face quickly! Titles should stop people in their tracks. “Coffee Gadgets That Will Ruin Starbucks for You” is more clickable than “Best Coffee Gear.” The better your hook, the greater the "Opportunity" (You have heard this word used before as well!) to grab their attention.

3. Use 3–5 Categories
Categories make your list easy to skim. They also help different types of readers find what they need without scrolling forever, as they are clickable. Think Table of Contents.
4. Put Your Best Pick First
After you smack them and they are able to regain their composure, now is the time for your meat and potatoes! Don’t bury the gold. Your most exciting or valuable item should be at the top of each category.
5. Focus on Benefits, Not Features
“Keeps your coffee hot for four hours” is better than “16oz stainless steel travel mug.” People buy solutions, not specs. Remember, you are here to help!
6. Add a Personal Touch

If you’ve used it, you’re speaking from experience, not just repeating manufacturer claims. This builds credibility. Doing this also makes Readers feel like they’re getting a recommendation from a friend. This creates relatability. A personal touch is golden; keep this in mind.
7. Mix Up the Visuals
Don’t rely only on product images. Lifestyle shots, infographics, and action photos keep people interested. You can upload custom images when creating your suggestion card. Also, ensure proper sizing. You can use Canva for this!

8. Keep It Mobile-Friendly
Most clicks happen on a phone. Make sure where you send them loads quickly and add value. Please don't send them to a site that loads slowly. This can hurt you and your chances of keeping them on your list.
9. Update Lists Regularly
Keep your list updated. If you see something later that would be great on your list, log in and add it! Also, add seasonal items or trending products to keep your list fresh and give people a reason to re-share it.
10. Link to Related Lists
If you’ve made a similar Benable list, link to it naturally. Cross-promotion keeps people on your content longer. You can do this with your blog or social media.
11. Use Keywords Naturally
You should know how to do this by now. Think like your audience. If they’d search “eco-friendly kitchen tools,” make sure those words are in your title and blurbs. If you need a refresher, Here is Kyle and his idea on Keyword List.
12. Offer a Bonus Section
Okay, back to my list of olive oils. After I completed it, I had a thought that gave it a kick, and that was to add a bonus section in addition to my already optimized list. Add a “Hidden Gems” or “Rare Finds” section. Below is an image of my addition.

13. Watch Your Analytics
See which products get the most clicks and bump them up in your list. Benable Analytics (Insights) lets you know what people are clicking, but you can also leverage your outside analytics platforms for your products.
14. Include Strong CTAs
Within your blogs and social media posts, be a guide! Tell people exactly what to do next — “Check price here” works better than a plain link. Here is an idea. Use GPT to create a CTA using a Custom HTML code. Tell it the product and share your URL, and let GPT do the heavy lifting.
15. Share Everywhere
Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X can each bring a new audience to your list. Be creative, and get to work!
