confused on what is CMS...
Hi friends Just wanted to know what is the best way to make a website, I mean I don't know anything about what's professional web designing and when I tried to search on internet a host of CMS softwares like wordpress/drupal/Joomla...confused me even more.
The story seems to be endless when I came to know about heavy softwares like Dreamweaver, Xpressionweb, Xsitepro etc etc..Can anyone tel me how are they different from wordpress/joomla/drupal ?
Even If I create a website on Xpressionweb (which I am assuming I can use) How do I launch it live on the net?
I mean I am familiar only with WA website builder which allows us to make website without going on to these details.
Finally the last question: what is FTP account ?

I'd say stick with Wordpress and minimize confusing the issue with other platforms. I mean whats the point really? They both accomplish the same end albeit by slightly different means. Glancing at your Crazytronics website (which by the way electronics was a passion of mine for some time) is great! I would suggest developing your skills with the WP platform because in the end there really is not much difference unless you are in the business of user experience (UX) enterprise solutions. Wordpress can rank like any other platform. Checkout http://bloggerhigh.com/ for a very decent free and easy to use SEO plugin, and complement it with the allinoneSEO plugin, or my personal favorite 'WordPress SEO Plugin' by Yoast. One of the pitfalls of becoming successful in any way on the internet is that there are so many choices and distractions that it is hard to get anything done, LOL. FTP is where you edit, upload ect website files directly from your computer to your internet website hosting account with an interface file system manager (similar to windows explorer), called a FTP program. Cheers, and I gotta go to bed now its 4:30 in the morning for me.
Thanks Johnny It seems wordpress is best for me too...
