If we have a passion towards accomplishing anything in life, by holding the rudder steadily in the direction we are pursuing in our hearts and allowing the wind to carry us through the storms we may face in our lives, I am confident we will eventually sail into quiet and pleasing waters and find our hearts desire .

3. Tiller- A tiller or till is a lever attached to a rudder post (American terminology) or rudder stock (English terminology) of a boat that provides leverage for the helmsman to turn the rudder.

Representation: The power to influence a person or situation to achieve a particular outcome.

A heart connection is essential to all relationships and it is the primary means to communicate and synchronize the dance movements between the lead and follow. The ability take hold of the ships tiller in order to change course when necessary is of vital importance. This process comes about by the ability to lead from the heart, continuously identifying and activating your life’s passion by creatively finding your place to contribute in a beneficial way. If there is no hearts passion we can quickly find ourselves shipwrecked on an island all alone. Our tongues can be considered as the rudder of the ship but it is from what is in our heart that controls the rudder and the course of the ship.

“And think of a ship - although it is huge and is driven by strong winds, yet the pilot can steer it wherever he wants with just a small rudder.”

4. Sail: Are primarily used on the water by sailing ships and sail boats as a propulsion system. A primary feature of a properly designed sail is an amount of "draft", caused by curvature of the surface of the sail.

Representation: The contents of our hearts to propel us forward.

Depending on how we think determines the curvature (the rate of change) of our hearts. Proper heart cultivation is detrimental to having increasing feelings of joy, peace, love, well-being and success in our journey towards the open seas. Cognitive capacity, emotional intelligence, intuition, flow, charisma, and compassionate responsiveness is the wind in our sails (hearts desires) needed for proper change (curvature) and lift (draft) of the heart, propelling us (ship) forward.

Ingredients of the Propulsion:

a. Cognitive capacity- The operation of the mind process by which we become aware of objects of thought and perception, including all aspects of perceiving, thinking, and remembering.

b. Emotional intelligence- The capabilities, competencies, and skills that influence one’s ability to succeed in coping with environmental demands and pressures that direct affect a person’s overall psychological well-being.

c. Intuition- Awareness or knowing that seems to come unbidden and usually cannot be logically explained.

d. Flow- To move or run smoothly with unbroken continuity.

e. Charisma- A special personal quality or power of an individual making him capable of influencing or inspiring large numbers of people.

f. Compassion- A feeling of distress and pity for the suffering or misfortune of another, often including the desire to alleviate it.

g. Responsiveness- Being susceptible to the attitudes, feelings, or circumstances of others.
