It's a bit obscene the amount of money in the prize. It had to be a good bit of hype to afford that!
The hype was part of the marketing, The people sitting in those front row seats, payed $250.000.00 per seat, to see a fight, that was no better than the two opening bouts. That was pure genius in marketing. Now if I can incorporate that marketing strategy into my internet marketing business, I'll have the same smile on my face as those two boxers did, after that mediocre fight! Have a WA day!
What a boring fight it was. The animated video prediction was accurate, but had more punching. Marketing, particular hob and the other broadcaster I forget, the the main "problems" apparently behind this fight, as it has taken 6 years to get it to happen. As a pacman supporter I'm unhappy, and as far as boxing goes, it's just another reason why it's just not so good anymore
Probably a lot of hype but it did go to a decision. So I would say the folks that bought tickets got what they wanted to see. I still can't believe the winner got $180,000,000 and the looser wasn't far behind. Unbelievable.
