Hello everybody!

First off I'd just like to thank everybody for their honest and well thought feedback for my two mains sites www.howtobegintrading.com and www.diydrainclearance.com. I usually like to reply to each and every one but haven't managed that just yet, so for now: Thank You!

Now on to the main reason for my post.

I've now reached Level 4, Lesson 7/10, which prompts you to write a blog post on Wealthy Afilliate itself. At first I wasn't sure what the post would be about, and I definitely did not want to make a bland, generic "here I am, follow me!" kind of post (not that I've seen that here, I just didn't want to come off like that with my second post!).

But then I thought back to an idea for a post I kept meaning to put up a while ago, so here goes!

I'd Love To Hear From You Guys How Long It Took Before You Felt Like You Were Getting Anywhere

By this I mean in terms of decent traffic (most of mine is still from WA Site Feedback and Site Comments), first sales and just the feeling of gaining traction.

I've been spending most evenings creating content, tweeking existing content, going through the Wealthy Afilliate training and creating social media content and linking it to my sites. I'll occasionally get some organic traffic or a light bulb moment for a new article or new site altogether but find myself having to remind myself that it's a long trek and will still take time.

Part of my mentality right now is that as I only started in May, I'm still laying the foundations for the best passive income online in terms of doing the hard work now so it pays off later, a bit like Pat Flynn's podcast intro.

So Back To The Point! How Long Did It Take You To:

• Make your first sale
• Get hundreds of organic vistors each month
• Feel like you're getting somewhere

I'm hoping this helps me to remember it *could* take maybe a year to get somewhere and for it to start paying off, and everybody has a different timescale and starting point. I think a good perspective is always good!

I also hope this helps fellow members in the same boat as me, I'm sure there are others in similar positions.
