WA Ranking
So, eight days ago my ranking here on WA had slipped from the mid-400's to 8802, due to the regular black art updates which I don't really understand, or indeed need to understand.
Following a week of joining mentoring groups, writing a couple of posts, asking questions and commenting on posts by friends here in the community, I have now risen back up to the dizzy heights of 301. Amazing!
Now, while this gives me a comfortable glow, I am adamant that it is not my real focus within my WA membership. It is a function of my engagement with the community, whilst concentrating my main effort into comleting the training and building my business,
So don't be addicted to meteoric rises, or disappointed by "catastrophic" dips in your ranking - this is NOT Bitcoin trading! lol.
Concentrate instead on the real reason you are here and tell yourself why you have invested in this platform. It will only be as awesome as you allow it to be.

Yes focus on priorities, building your site and generating revenue, WA rank is a distant 8th haha.

I try to not look at the rank at all if I can control myself, even though I try to not be concerned it's very hard for me. I do have to focus on my sites, 2 of them and it's difficult to find the balance between involvement in the community and working on my websites, but I am trying :))

I know - it's quite insane. Just by writing 1 more post and 2 replies I have gone up again to 286.
But I'm not looking! lol

Good advice Terry. Rankings have become meaningless here anyway with the radical ups and downs due to all the algorithmic changes, it is a waste of time to focus om them.
Focus on the education, building your businesses, and making money.
As Loes says, you are now 286 and the way you are going you may well soon be in the top 200. But yes, that's not going to help your bank balance, but working on your site will.
Something similar happened to me. I had various health issues and then was behind on various offline things so found it hard to motivate myself to getting back to WA. Then I got all these excited emails about various mentoring possibilities and though I haven't applied for any, I am nevertheless motivated to be here again and have been steadily working away for the last couple of weeks. My rank had dropped down into the 7000s and within about two weeks I have come back to 384.
Interacting with members here has been very interesting, since I ended up meeting several people I hadn't come across before and have since followed.
So now I am looking forward to staying motivated by the success posts from all those on the various groups. May even end up joining one after all. :-)

Good advice, I am in the same circumstance. I am now at 8239 and I was at 305. I don't know why. I do comment on post, try to answer questions and have added new premium members to WA. But, as you say, I will move forward and not look at the rankings, they are only a number that has nothing to do with my success of my website.
