The Journey to Success: What It Has Taken

I must confess, the journey to blogging success has been a difficult one but a rewarding one. Each week, life will try to get in your way. Kids, jobs, and events that we all live with in the real world. Online blogging sometimes appears to be that distant goal, perhaps surreal journeys end that is so elusive. Yet, there is a destination and a ending.

What It Has Taken

I have been on this journey for many years on and off, the bottom line is it wasn't till I found WA that I truly understood what I didn't know. IF you want success in your dreams you find someone who done it right? If you want to be a millionaire do you ask your broke friends or family how to become one? Of course not you find a millionaire who had done it!

I find that blogging is similar. All the tools to success are here, technical training, knowledge from those that have done it and continue to do it in the ever evolving world of commerce. What better way to stay up-to-date than speak to those that are doing it everyday?

I have struggled, not so much with technical issues but with life and discipline to writing. Sometimes, I am so tired I can't keep my eyes open, How many of you have fallen asleep at the keyboard researching or typing your articles? I know I sure have!

Yet, despite obstacles and goals not always being where I would like them, My blogging site is blossoming into a real live extention of my personality. I may not get an article out everyday yet, but I continue to work on disciplining myself to do so. If you can't do an article a day perhaps on one day write 3 artciles and set them up to post over the next few days.

Community and Friends

I have given this some thought over the last few days and I think it is important. Find friends in the community. I realize we are all busy with our blogging and families, but don't forget to bond with those here in the community. Find those of like mind and interest and give each other pep talks. Chat on Facebook, hook-up on Twitter and Instagram. Google + etc... are great places to get to know each other better. Put a personality behind that name that clicks on your needed help in whatever way it manifests itself on this site.

I feel that if we put ourselves out there a bit, love each other and get to know each other better, we promote our blogs, this community, and motivate one another much better. So, I will leave you all with this, LOVE, Love each other more than any other differences this world throws at us, the Internet allows such a wonderful opportunity to get to know someone from another culture, another country, and above all another human being.
