Its time to make a choice.
I joined WA as a free member less than a week ago, and have enjoyed the level one training, When affiliate marketing was new it was undoubtedly a lot more difficult, but today we have a company that provides a complete platform that does not just host a website but genuinely offers a complete set of tools specifically designed for affiliate marketing.
The truth is though that having looked at WA its become apparent that making a living online is doable! It is not a dream that one day I might do this, instead, it has become a very vivid reality.
Sure that's a good thing my goals and desires just became achievable, but it's like starting a new job (all be it one with an uncapped salary structure.) and new jobs, even ones we want, can be a bit scary.
Some advice for others in my situation.
I learned an important lesson a while back by watching a very successful person nearly fail. He organised an event for about 80 people and then a week before its commencement the company providing the venue went bankrupt taking most of the money set aside for the event with them. Well, you might imagine he was upset, but amazingly he was calm and just stoically went ahead and fixed the situation.
When the event was underway I asked him about his attitude and he told me something that changed my life.
You see there are many ways to measure success but the real superstar achievers measure it based on what they can most readily control. So that's what I want those of you at the start of this journey to get from me, a way of measuring success that gives you total control over the outcome regardless of what outside factors might get in your way.
Never again use your bank balance, your social standing, the car you drive or the clothes you wear as a metric by which to measure your success because outside factors can skew these results giving you a false reading on how well you're really doing.
My freakishly successful friend has great worldly success but the measure he described to me was "Did I do everything I could as well as I could, to get the outcome I wanted" he explained to me that because he is in control of that, its the most important thing.
The clock is ticking!
If you're as new here as me, then there really is a ticking clock sitting at the top of your page telling you that if you make a choice right now, you will get a cheaper first month than if you procrastinate a while. So if you're done with your basic training don't sit there watching the second-hand click round while you struggle to decide. Instead ask, during the basic training did I do everything as well as I could. Does my profile picture look good? Are my income goals truthful and well-considered, is the about me page on your web page well written?
For me, there are challenges I have not yet overcome, like finding a proofreader. I don't have to worry about how epically I might fail though because I know that I will do everything I can do to the best of my ability, and that to me is the experience of success.
