how affordable technology has become
HOW AFFORDABLE TECHNOLOGY HAS BECOME
I'm amazed on how easy is these days to have a domain name and a website. Not only easy but how a low price one can buy one or several domains. I started with the cheapest of all, how much would you ask? how about zero dollars. This website is running for zero dollars and is a full fledge Magento store: http://technistore.zapto.org (under develpment)
Then I created another site inside that one, also running for zero dollars in cost, this one I made it for my granddaughter school and runs in WordPress latest version: http://technistore.zapto.org/estefy/ (it may take a while to open as it's a free domain)
Now those sites are running out from my PC using a package that contains an Apache Web-Server, a PHP server and MYSQL server. in order to make it public I use a website that will associate my PC IP's address with the domain name I wanted to choose, in this case the name I chose was technistore, and the other part of the name comes from this website that gives you a name resolution for Free up to 2 domains.
But after doing some research I found out that web hosting is so cheap if one pays in advance for a few years in advance. I found a site that offered me webhosting for $1/month and I paid $24.00 for 2 years of web hosting. Not only that, I can web-host as many domains as I want for this same price so I have created now around 5 websites and hosted them in the same place. The only thing that is pricy compared to this web-hosting is the purchase of the Domain Name. But that also can be researched and I bought for instance a domain for $1.17 for the first year http://calzadounico.com, and another for $0.99, this last one I bought it to advertise Wealthy Affiliate: http://easyaffiliates.info
So in conclusion one can have several web sites advertising different things at the same time and cost is not that much, this is when one knows to work around and is knowledgeable on creating the websites using any free software package out there like WordPress, Magento, Prestashop, etc.
Now I have space to resell some of my web hosting.

hi there Trialynn, yes it take a bit of research and once you find what you need it also takes some self studying to deal with things like working with cPanel, FTP your files, working with database creation and installing your websites, otherwise you'll have to hire someone to do it for you and that will increase greatly the final price per website you own.
