OMG! Customer Purchase Lifecycle Really Works!
OK, I know it's my second blog today, but I just had share this success story from Kyle's training.
Today I met a very successful local business owner in my small community. He called the meeting because he had seen my work and was unhappy with his current marketing people. After a long and somewhat spirited discussion, I could feel he was slipping away unless I something polemical to grab his attention..
Then I remembered Kyle's brilliant lesson on the Customer Purchase Lifecycle.
As a last ditch effort I blurted out "you are trying to sell to customers before they are ready" He went silent for what seemed like an eternity, and I could see the wheels turning inside his head. Then suddenly he answered "That's it"
My reward: the company's marketing with a nice fat 6-month contract and a retainer.
All because I remembered Kyle's post, and simply elaborated some of the key points, which the client connected with.
