Google+ Shutting Down
Unfortunately, Google announced today that it is shutting down its Google+ service. It seems it is throwing in the towel as it didn't take off the way the company had hoped. Also, the Engadget report link included below suggested that there was a security flaw that the company knew about but decided that it wasn't worth fixing.

Note: this is only for consumer accounts. If your account is considered enterprise-level, then they are continuing those accounts.
I have checked other authority resources which lists the same info.

I had just started working with Google + I was trying to figure out how to link my site with Google + and now that I finally figure it out they go and shut it down.
But that is okay I will figure it out the others then.

What a bummer:( I have had a lot of traffic and sales from Google+ over the Past several months. That's too bad...
Hey Suzi,
Perhaps see if you can change your account to an enterprise-level one? I don't know anything about it but maybe you can keep it going with this option. Worth a look...

HI James,
I guess word is spreading rather fast about this, I just read another blog about it also. I'm with Loes I going to give Webtalk a serious look over and see what it is all about?
Thanks for sharing,
Calvin
Second link on my profile, it's a combi between LinkedIn and Facebook, the nicest thing about it is that you can share selective, there is an intro video on the site
No effect on me so it's all good, I just started with Google + and barely got the hang of it. A little too much to handle IMO.
Interesting. I'll have to take a look at this. I was just thinking about expanding into G+. Maybe it's not ideal to do that. With more research, I guess I'll know!
Hey Tiffany, I wasn't aware they even had enterprise-level accounts until reading about it. Admittedly, I haven't used the platform much since its inception.

Jim

I knew there was a reason I didn't like using Google plus! ;-) Thanks for the information. Pretty darn interesting!
