Getting Ranked On Bing! - 5 Month Progress
Hi WA fam! We are so excited to announce that our website has a post that is officially ranked on page 1 of Bing and page 2 of Google! And we have started to see growth in our traffic due to it.
First, we just wanted to start off with an update on our progress and cover all the bases of blogging this month.
Here are our big milestones:
- Our website has 42 posts
- 38 are indexed on Google
- We have been premium members at WA for 6 months now
- We have 4 posts that are on the second page of Google (yay!!)
- We finally made our first Amazon Affiliate sale this month
- We have two members signed up under us for WA this month
So as you can see this month has been a big one for us! We have seen huge leaps in our progress! Though the actual numbers are small, the fact that we are seeing results after months of hard work and consistent effort, is HUGE!
We are so happy and grateful to be a part of this community! It has helped us so much and has helped grow something we never thought was even possible. We couldnt have done this without help from Kyle & Carson, and of course this lovely community.
We also wanted to stress the importance of marketing yourself on social media while you wait to be ranked on Google.
This month I had 890 visitors total, 27 were from Google & Bing, 4 were from Facebook, 13 were from Instagram, and the rest were from Pinterest. Thats a whopping 846 visiotrs from Pinterest!
Unfortunately, this monthly number is low compared to my last two months, but dips in traffic are to be expected. Either way, thats almost 1,000 visitors to our website and a vast majority is from Pinterest. So if anyone is questioning whether its worth marketing yourslef on Pinterest or other forms of social media, we say 100% YES IT IS!
Another thing I wanted to talk about is consistency. We have had months where we post 3-4 times a week, and we have had months where we only post twice a week, unfortunately this month was crazy because we moved staets, so we have only been able to post twice a week, (hence the dip in traffic). We have seen the importance of consistency and the effects of posting more often!
