We are so often asking this question of ourselves and others, constantly gazing to the future while on a mission for personal growth, looking to achieve that next goal, seeking ways to challenge ourselves physically & mentally. While pursuing growth enhances our lives, I find we often fail to stop and celebrate the present.

Since joining Wealthy Affiliate two weeks ago, I’ve enjoyed learning and connecting with the community. We’re all asked to share our financial goals, and these can be a great motivator as we remember what we’re striving for and why we’re investing time and energy. But if we’re not careful, keeping a laser focus on our destination can hinder our progress. We can become frustrated when goals we’ve set for ourselves aren’t met within our expected timeline. And we may miss a sign in the moment that is telling us to slightly change course.

So while we’re all on our journeys, let’s stop to celebrate the here and now. Relish in the work you’ve put into who you are today, the relationships you’ve formed, and the mysteries of the world around you as it is right now in this present moment.
