Re-inventing the Wheel

CHANGING careers can be like re-inventing the wheel! My wheel had zero affiliate marketing spokes connected to it, so I am going through a large learning curve here.

The working class person needs to continually feed their pocket book, which is a reality of life. It's how we do this that can make ALL the difference. Working like a drone in a monotonous job has no fulfillment connected to it. A job that provides motivation and enthusiasm, purpose and an end goal, doesn't feel like work - it gives a renewed feeling of worth every day that you wake up!

This is what I am looking for as I expand and grow (yet again) through Wealthy Affiliate. Here I am finding a bright(er) light at the end of the tunnel as I move into my 6th decade of life.

I am 59% of the way through the 4th course now, and am looking forward to crossing the finish line and cashing in on my new education. For a while, the thought running through my mind was - this is a bit difficult and time-consuming. Then I came to realize that it was getting easier the more I did it, and that like anything new to be learned, the more you engage in and hone the process, it becomes programmed in the brain with the result being familiarity and ease.

What Can I Share From My Experience?

Since I am new to this realm, I don't have any "inside" secrets or tips to pass along to make anyone's learning easier. That type of knowledge only comes from years of experience at a particular craft/career.

One little thing I have noticed and will share is this: After creating any type of blog content, we are taught to use the spell checker to find any mistakes. I have done this each time, and each time after it finishes and I move on to the "publish" stage to continue with the process in editor. What I've noticed is that when in the editing phase, I still find spelling errors. I was trusting that the initial spell check had caught all my mistakes - not so!

From reading other people's work, it looks like they are doing the same - putting their trust in the spell checker in the first step. I find many grammar and spelling errors in their finalized, published work.

Here is what I would like to pass along ....... I now hit the spell checker twice in a row, It's remarkable how many times it picks up things the second time around!

I hope the wheels of progress are turning smoothly for all my friends here at WA!

Cheers!
