5 year update
Hello everyone here at WA!
After being a part of this community for over 5 years now, I figured I would update you all. I've been active on and off and have seen that the most consistent factor that plays the biggest role in any online work is consistency. So many people are out there creating things online that one of the few ways people (and Google) can filter out the vast amounts of content is by looking at consistency and the consistency of high quality. Unfortunately, I've not found any "free" shortcuts - and I've tried a lot! I've tried paid advertising through an agency (which is expensive) and it worked but would be something I'd wait on until much later in the income-building process.
I've just bought another domain and plan to build a podcast idea.
Every time I buy a new website domain, I post an update here. I still have my first website, MusicalGrowth.com, and have already built a print-on-demand store for it. But my consistency in marketing has waned over the years and it's definitely apparent in the traffic trends for my website.
So main lesson: is consistency.

Happy 5 year anniversary. Consistency is the key but life also happens. We have health issues, family circumstances and work obligations if we aren't retired. I have been here since 2016 and learned so much and am still learning on the WA platform. But we do have to try to stay consistent in working on our website with good content.
