cooking in my family

Being from a very large family on both sides you learn from a tender age to cater to a large audiance when it comes on to cooking, on my mother's side we take every oppurnity to get together and cook and guess what? am always left with that task. (lol) for example at christmas which is a very special time of the year in my family we would normaly have boxing day dinner, where we would decide on a family member's home where the dinner would be held and delegate different task to different persons. Like who would be cooking what and taking it, but guess what happens with those plans? they all get thrown out the window and in the end am left doing the bulk of the cooking it's a good thing i dont mind lmao or ther would be some pretty hungry and angry people that day.
