My site is no longer verified with Bing. What is going on?
I just went to do a fetch of a new article with bing and I am being told that my site isn't verified.
This site is 19 months old and has been verified via AIO SEO this whole time. I checked the code in All In One SEO and it is there and correct.
Bing is telling me I have 3 options:
1. downlaod bingsiteauth.xml and follow the instructions
2. Copay and paste a <meta> tag in my default web page (not sure what that means).
3. Add Cname record to DNS (also unsure of this one, my site is hosted with WA)
Has this happened to anyone else and what did you do?
UPDATE: This may have been a glitch. I copied and pasted the code back into AIO SEO and hit update. Then went back into Bing and clicked on Verify. Now everything is working again.

How did you verify? In the head or with SEO all in one. When you verify in the head, it might be overwritten with a theme update, you better use the SEO all in one, that sticks around Verify Bing With All In One SEO Plugin
It is verified with AIO SEO, but for some reason Bing stopped recognizing it. I checked and the code is correct. Not sure what else might be going on.
Do you know how FTP works? You could try that. How to Verify Your Website With Google, Yahoo & Bing Using FTP
I just copied the code and pasted it into AIO SEO again, updated and then went back to bing and clicked on Verify. And now it is working again.
Did you recently update your theme? When I verify with Bing, I put the code in the <>head<> section in header.php by going to Appearance > Header within WordPress. But if there is an update to my theme, that replaces all the theme files, so I lose that code and have to put it in again.
