How do you know whether the content should be put on a post or a page.
Maybe it is best that articles be put in the posts. If it is a need to group your posts in the future you can have a page of each group but that could be easily done. It's not a complicated thing.
Basic pages are mentioned in the certification course.
The attention getting copy should go be the POSTS.
The 'here-is-my-site-and-I-am-talking-about-THIS copy.
The pages support this post and bring detail about THIS.

I made my pages like... my main topic page (what my site is about): my about me page: and my Terms and conditions page. These "pages" appear as separate links somewhere on your page & can be accessed easily. I haven't come up with anymore topic pages yet. The posts are separated kind of like individual blog posts. It gives more detailed information about my topic. I'm still learning & what I've done may be way different than how someone else does their's. But I hope it helps in some way. :) good luck!!
Here's my page if you'd like to see how I did mine... just keep in mind it's still under construction ;) http://allnaturalessentialoils.siterubix.com/

Page or post. where to put content? not sure what to do.

Hi Tamara,
I found this from one of the WA blogs. It might help.
"Pages are the basic structure of your site. You don't need to create many of them.
Posts are the majority of your work. This will be part of your regular schedule."

I want to put some reviews on my review page. Can I go on other sites and get the customer reviews from there? Not sure how to do a review page of products.
You can use the customer reviews as your guide but write the review in your own style and own words...
Never ever copy other peoples posts. You can research other reviews to research opinions on the product but when you write your review it needs to be totally your own opinion on or experience with the product.
Nope you cannot take someone else's customer review(s) and put it them one your site.
A review of a product is done by you - you create a post reviewing the product/service.
You could say something like - "many people have said product X is great/terrible - here's my opinion" Now right your review of the product.
Now you can link from your site to the product site or other sites where the customer reviews are to help support your opinion (good/bad) of the product.

Thanks. That clarifies it more for me.
