There are amazing things we can learn if we just practice being quiet!
One of the things that I have begun doing lately is taking time to be quiet.
I am not one to sit and relax; to simply enjoy the moment. My life is described by activity.
Sometimes life throws you a curve ball but in the end, you find that it is a blessing in disguise!
At the end of last year, I was diagnosed with cancer, wow that was a curve ball that threw me for a loop. Thankfully they discovered it early and the diagnoses included the probability that with chemo and radiation there was hope.
Hope is one of my favorite words. Hope is always good in the end even when the beginning looks bad.

With fear, I began the therapy hoping anyways. Now the biggest side effect for me was a loss of energy. I had to rest a lot more!
Now I find help in just sitting outside quietly enjoying the beauty of creation. It has been therapeutic. It is amazing what help you can find by sitting or just walking enjoying the scenery.
When I once found help in music or the noise of being busy I now find help in just being quiet whenever I am able. Being quiet the thoughts begin to swirl around in my consciousness.
Things come to mind, new ideas, new hope, wow, it is amazing what happens when you practice being quiet.
Look I know that you are all busy people. But let me encourage you today to take some time regularly to practice being quiet.
However, you do it does not matter but I believe when you do you will find in time new strength and ideas that will help you along the way on your journey to success.
