Stepping into the WA pool again

Ok... Giddy up, its time again to grab the bull by the horns and just do it.

I was here a few years back, excited about sharing my journey about realistically establishing myself on line.

I've been tempted by the scams. I was fascinated by the outrageous claims of how much money can be made just by the click of the button. Luckily, I've always had a acute cynicism about me, so the scammers out there never really emptied my pocket.

So, after a few years of not being in this WA space, I'm back again.

I have to inject here, it wasn't financial poverty or a sneaking peek of my cynicism that made me leave. It was nature. Yes. Nature.

I lived on the 'nature island', on the tiny island of Dominica. Not to be confused by the Dominica Republic. No, this is the Commonwealth of Dominica, known for its beautiful waterfalls, beautiful natural habitat and amazing rain forest.It was like living in paradise at times...

I lived here with my husband for nearly three years. But at the end of August 2015, Erika struck and rained heavily on Dominica's fragile infrastructure. All our things were damaged. I was weary. It was either to go back to the grey, cloudless, frigid environment of London, or to literally pack up and go to another island. We chose the latter.

After several years of trying to find our niche (!) and space, we are now settled. A new island, where I had to learn French (as its a French Overseas Department). I'm also working here as a Teaching English as a Foreign Language teacher in a high school and college. I also work with teenagers and adults in a private language school, which I love.

And now, I'm back, full circle, happy to be in the warm embrace of WA and all the friendly people I met when I first encountered this little spot on the web.

I'm happy to be back again!
