Hi WA peeps. When I look at my website under the site manager, it says that my site is being indexed by Google. When I go the content dashboard it shows that I have 24 articles
Hi Herman,
Yes, your domain is indexed and visible to Google, but your content has yet to be indexed. My suggestion is to log into Google Search Console, and request indexing on your pages! You may in-fact find that many are indexed already.
Let us know :)
Carson
Follow-up question: Goggle Search Console has 1 page indexed but none of my articles (posts not pages) are indexed. Do I need to request that Google index each articles URL? Thank you!

have you checked in your search console and analytics accounts....
google has changed how it does the search recently and is throwing things out of kilter for a lot of programs that relied on google for information - jaaxy being one...
so as jaaxy is not working properly at the moment best not to rely on teh information given and go back to the source...
you could do a google search for site:yoururl and see what is currently indexed...
replacing yoururl with the url of your site....

The process is the same for any type of website, and if you need any help as you build out your website we will be more than happy to give you a hand.
We have a lot of training on how to promote WA coming soon as we head into the new year as well, so stay tuned for that.
Thanks for the response, Kyle. Wasn't sure if I had miss something. Looking forward to growing with Wealthy Affiliate in 2025. I appreciate all that you and your team do! Keep up the great work!

I've been starting to publish posts but I am not sure I understand the difference between publishing a post and publishing a page? Can someone please explain for me? Thank you!
As a follow-up to my question, Kyle says during the training that affiliate programs sometimes require a minimum of 15 pages before approving your website. What are some examples of these additional pages that Kyle is referring to? I'm sorry if this is a basic question...just trying to make sure i understand it all. Thank you!
I'm pretty sure he meant to say posts. There should only be a handful of pages on your website, as described below. The rest should be posts.
Hope this helps!
Angela M :)
A page is static like your about me, privacy policy, affiliate disclaimers that don't normally change while post are the ones you want to continue with and also where or when needed to be updated if there are any changes.
You can also read Kyle's comment to another member on the same idea as yours below Page or post which is better or does it matter?
Thank you very much for clarifying and for sharing Kyle's post with me. Greatly appreciated!!!
