Will Elon Musk Improve Twitter For Marketing Purposes?

You have probably seen by now that Elon Musk bought Twitter and he has got big plans to first of all eliminate the bot problem on the site and secondly he got plans to develop it into a platform similar to "WeChat". Those that are familiar with "WeChat" would know what an awesome app it is but the app is more for the Asian market and there is no similar app as yet available to the West. Elon is about to change that, or at least that is the plan.

I am also hoping that there will be less restriction/control on reach and that we as marketers will therefore get even more exposure utilising Twitter than ever before.

I know some may have their opinions on Elon Musk and think he is a bit controversial at times, but one thing I think no one can deny is that he is certainly a genius and everything he touch turns to gold. Not sure if everyone will agree haha, but I think most people probably will.

I am a bit excited about the prospect of Elon taking over Twitter as I truly believe he will aim to make the app so much better for us all. I know some are concerned that he will have the mantra of "everything goes" in the name of freedom of speech but he already mentioned that it will of course not become a platform without any moderation at all and there will still be clear boundaries. That is at least what he said, we will have to wait and see.
