Time: How do you spend it each day?

Let us all face it- This is the truth: "We only have 24 hours in a day."

What if this 24 hours is fully optimized with clarity, purpose and direction?

Well, I know some of us are guilty of not spending it wisely. My closest of friends some of them stay at home to play computer games daily. Others go out to shop and drink in night clubs till morning comes.

Just imagine you are working on a desk with only a clock on the wall, a laptop and mobile phone or tablet. Seated in your office, with piles of paperwork not finished. Files not yet signed, telephone ringing incessantly...

Working hard in a job may not be a bad thing, you can learn from many people of all backgrounds. Be exposed to diverse cultures and nationalities.

You will not notice it but stealthy every minute and second goes by quietly.

You are dying real slowly. Plus, ageing gradually. (Sorry, ladies this is a reality !)

Ask yourself these few critical questions:

1. Am I going to work to get paid by the hour or monthly until I die?

(No. I plan to stop "working" before I am 35. Retiring actually is not in my dictionary. For me my monthly paycheck is what I look forward to; I get paid hourly and monthly.. just like everyone else... except that I desire control over how much I earn for a living.)

2. Do I feel like I am satisfied by the job or task(s) that I am doing currently? If not, why am I experiencing this? (Yes, sometimes the task I do is very much boring. Yet I do learn from the tiny details, mistakes I made.) (My experience taught me that a job done well no matter the what the task is; that means I have achieved something: half the battle is already hard won.)

3. What are the other benefits of me doing this? (I get to expose myself to the world, meet new people and broaden my perspectives of things that I am interested in.)

4. How do I perceive myself in years to come? How do I want to be remembered by my friends or family? (I want to be remembered as a person whom makes people smile, laugh and reflect. Makes them do better and improve themselves than where they were before yesterday.)

To answer these questions, look deep within.

Every job has it's intended purpose. There are pros and cons.

For some you will have to shoulder heavy responsibilities. Like a teacher, doctor, fireman, policemen does. However, big or small these roles may be, it impacts and influences lives of others. So do not be in a rush to quit your day time jobs yet!

(Interestingly, we are but 6 degrees apart from one another.)

What about your spare time then? What do you do with it?

Do you do so by cultivating on relationships that you would like to nurture with someone you dearly cherish?

Do you watch movies drama series till dawn skipping sleep at night?

Play games online without rest, food or desire for real social connections?

The things that most people desire are fame, fortune, power or beauty. While some people pursue the 1 million dollar goal, I do too, just that it is so with a twist.

For what is worth, I am a person who loves to impact positively in others lives to come. I myself does volunteerism and offer free advice to startup entrepreneurs in S.G. I learn Internet marketing here on the web and else where in books, webinars etc. I model after people whom are already in the top notch "golden standard" in what they do, successful in many ways.

I teach only because it is right to do so after so many others had shown me the way.

There are no true experts here only individuals of great minds who think and act on plans for a singular purpose. Mine is to make my local community a more harmonious and positive one.

My purpose is to make a small group of people succeed daily. With faith and clarity of vision, that even if it is a 1 man show or a 1 mentee fellowship, I will still take up the task.

Knowing that if I were to make that 1 student mentee successful, I can do the same for others too. At least, that was what I had learnt from my mentors.

I am not saying that you cannot play computer games to make money or kill time, what about the ordinary man on the street? That guy or girl who has no talent, no fame or beautiful looks, money to flaunt? What do they have to offer then?

Intelligence is malleable. We humans are adaptive creatures, it pays to allow small actions to bring huge results. Doing things that are seemingly insignificant but has great ripple effects.

You can pay it forward by showing kindness to the other person next to you. Being appreciative of their services and generosity extended. A smile will be more than sufficient to lighten up another's mood or bad day. A hug, or word of "thank you" would not hurt. These are all free, priceless tags that many overlook. Or taken for granted.

As we hustle for the gold in WA, world of affiliate marketing, internet marketing do not let it blind you, that you forgotten who you truly are. Where you came from and how it all begun. Let that light within shine and cast away the darkness surrounding you. Choose to give love, kindness and hope.

So what about you? Let me know, how well is your time spend?

Cheers,

Sytou. (Nat)

For the past 15 years my time has been spent earning money through working in Corporate offices. I have spend tons of time in my car commuting all over the place to complete job tasks that are given to me rather than completing the tasks that I would like to complete. Since I have had a drive to break the cycle, my time is now designated to getting my website going. I plan on working on this everyday after my commute until I can leave my full time job. After that, I will spend roughly 6 hours a day online growing my business. I like your post and think its a great way to keep yourself motivated and driving forward.

Thank you Kroz21 for the kind comments! I can see that you are very driven and into IM marketing. It is good that you have allocated time aside from your work to do this. Best way to start is to join hands with others like you, if you are keen, I can give you some advice here on my blog. Alternatively, we can work together as well. Do folllow me, and keep a close watch over my space (Blog). Cheers, Nat.
