Spring, summer, autumn, winter.

In Ireland we have seasons. The joke around here is that you can catch a glimpse of them all in a single day. Right now, the winter is still creeping around during the hours of darkness. Dawn temperatures are close to freezing. But, spring is making its presence felt. Birds nesting. The blooms coming out on the trees. If the sun gets through the clouds, you can even think about taking your coat off.
I used to envy those of you who live in perpetual summers. But, having seasons gives you an appreciation for how things flourish with changing conditions. You start to get a feel for how the bareness of winter is just part of the cycle that clears the way for the next period of growth, generation and abundance.

The same applies to the growth of ideas and projects. There are going to be periods where the buds are coming out, when the fruits are dropping from the branches, when it seems like there’s nothing to do but enjoy the fruits of your labours. But, there are also going to be bare patches when it seems like everything is dead. But, even then, there is growth happening under the surface of the soil, ideas slowly growing and waiting for the right conditions to come above the surface.
