Success at Wealthy Affiliate
I never dreamed in a million years I would one day have my own website but the training at Wealthy Affiliate has made that possible.
I'm on holiday in Darwin, Northern Territory, Austalia and just woke up to the exciting news that my website has been indexed by Google and I haven't even written a post yet!
One of the Wealthy Affiliate trainings was talking about branding and having yourself identified with the same photo over the web. Somewhere I had read about creating Gravatars so I googled that, found Gravatars and made one which linked to my website on Word Press then synced it to my Wealthy Affiliate account. Next, I made sure my Google account profile had the same photo and my gmail account too.
I don't know if all that activity over the weekend made the difference to being indexed by Google because all I have on my website is my privacy policy. In changing to my own domain I decided to delete everything from the domain provided by Wealthy Affiliate rather than transfer the content because I had made too many mistakes in setting it up.
My next step must be to redo the 'About Me' post [as I wasn't happy with it] so there is something on my site to read. Maybe I should write a warning 'Site under construction'?

Who is your public? How to write your blog? Your about me page? I hope the link can help you in writing your About Me page.
Thanks, Melani. I published it yesterday and had a bit of help from my hubby editing and checking it. Sylvie
