Music is life!
Good evening or morning depending on where you are. I had been off the road for a few weeks but I am back, and on track to building this wonderful business that I know I will enjoy for the rest of my life. Before I get into my topic I just want to say that no matter how old we get, this is the type of business that will go with us wherever we go. Mentally and physically. We will be able to make a great income while in bed or at the beach or traveling.
So I spent the day by the beach enjoying the peace and quiet. Feeding the birds and watching mothers with their small children waddling in the water. It reminded me of the days when I was raising my 3 daughters alone, and I would spend the best times with them on the beach watching the sun go down, or going to the park after school. Take in a matinee. I was able to do these things because I always had an independent career, so I could take them to school, go to work, pick them up from school, and basically do what I wanted to with them on my terms! With that being said, since they were born there was never a day that I did not share with them the love of music. In the car, at home, at the park, pretty much anywhere. When I was carrying them in my tummy, I would dance and play the music so they could hear it while inside
I wanted them to come into this world knowing that the beautiful sounds of music were relevant to their daily lives. WHY? because music has so much feeling, HAPPY, MELACHOLY, SAD, FESTIVE. There is always a time to hear any kind of music. I was blessed as a child to have had my mother (god rest her soul) introduce me to music when I was about 4yrs old. You see, my father passed at the age of 36 and left my mother a widow at age 34 with 3 daughters. She would sit me down with her on the couch and play the Big Band music and so much more. as the years went by, she shared with me so many different types of music, and to this day I enjoy it all.
I am at my happiest when I have, good ole dancing music, as it gets me in my happy mode, and that is when I write the best and my mind just opens up.
Today I am introducing music to my grand children, and they are becoming fast learners of the words, and yes they dance as well.
I might be much older than most of you young people, but for those of you who are baby boomers, you will appreciate the types of music that was great, and still is.
The Big band music, was well, pretty amazing. Les Brown, Frank Sinatra, Jobean, Blues, Jazz and so many others. Take a minute and think of how your brain reacts when you hear music, its pretty amazing how our personalities change with the sound.
Hope this did not bore you, but truly music have saved me many times, when I was not in a good place
Blessings

Hi, I really enjoyed reading your story here. I can't imagine a world without music... Music soothes the soul, give us peace and things to relate to. The best part is that there are many different types of music from rock, Gospel, jazz, country western, soul music and on and on... and we can switch back and forth depending on our needs...
Thank you for sharing!
Monica

Musick has Charms to sooth a savage Breast,
To soften Rocks, or bend a knotted Oak.
I've read, that things inanimate have mov'd,
And, as with living Souls, have been inform'd,
By Magick Numbers and persuasive Sound.
