I started with AWOL Academy. There, I said it!

I was keeping it a secret and it was eating at me. I started at AWOL a few hours before I came to Wealthy Affiliate.

I did my research by looking up AWOL Academy reviews: Is AWOL Academy a scam? The articles talked about Wealthy Affiliate being for free. I compared the two companies in the articles and chose the one I had to pay for. Shiny bauble syndrome. I drank the kool-aid and joined.

I decided to check our Wealthy Affiliate while I was waiting to get started with AWOL Academy and I stayed for 3 days. There was so much to do and it just flowed. The FREE site was giving me everything I had been looking for the past five years, and the only upsell at that point was the premium membership at a reduced price, but I kept expecting Wealthy Affiliate to ask for more. I had paid the money so I needed to see if there was a difference, even though at Wealthy Affiliate I was getting everything I needed right where I was.

The training AWOL Academy provides is good, but by the time I bought the tools they said I needed for the website, I was almost out of money and trying to figure out how I was going to pay the monthly fees for the services I had signed up for. When my "coaching" call came I asked how to make affiliate marketing produce revenue, but they have a monthly fee attached to that. He explained that I need to pay thousands for the remaining training modules and tools they tell you are needed and necessary to succeed.

Wealthy Affiliate is training me for free and if I wanted to I could upgrade. You let me create a free account and build a website with step-by-step instructions for free. I was dazed and amazed. I got to take part in a live video coaching session with support from the online community and an incredible mentor guiding me.

Do I need clickmagik, Leadpages, go daddy, Get response and hostgator for Wealthy Affiliate, I don't know yet. The information given for the $99 is just enough to pull you in. If you want to find out how to use your site, you need more packages. The training was step-by-step but to go further was going to be expensive. I have no money, so I am not AWOL material. AWOL is just too pricey.

WA teaches you how to use your site to generate revenue. I met Joel on the Live training and went to his site for additional affiliate training! I am new but it appears that in the 10 days I have been here, I will be able to learn how to actually earn revenue with the information that WA imparts to us. The community is absolutely fantastic! WA teaches you how to use your site to generate revenue and they tell you it's a slow steady process. I am glad I am here.
