Corrections, Corrections, Corrections
Cleaning up your Website.
As I continue to progress in my courses, I find out that things need to be done. That's one of the things I love about this program, corrections corrections, and the directions to do them.
I have spent the last 2 or 3 day, not sure now (LOL), making corrections to my website according to the instructions given to me in my courses. I love being able to do this because there were mistakes made along the way and this fixes them. I have not produced any revenue yet but I am gaining more confidence in working on my website.
I have 2 questions that need a community answer.
Do I need to Do either of these things each time I write a post? They are at the bottom of my post page each time, Why?
1) Description - fill this box in
2) NOINDEX this page/post / NOFOLLOW this page/post - check these two boxes
Thank you all for following my blog and thank you in a advance for answering questions.

I always fill in this Meta Description box. Usually with a snippet from my first paragraph. Do not go over 160 characters. It will let you know if you have, so don't panic.
DO NOT CHECK THE OTHER TWO BOXES.
Google won't be able to find you if you do.
Hope this helps.

Thank you, Grace, I have been wondering about them. It made sense not to check them. But I needed to hear from somebody who knows more about this than I do. When do I fill in the Meta Description box, does it have anything to do my posts, and where is it located?. Laughing out loud.
The box is the description box under your post in Wordpress. I copy and paste my first paragraph and then re work it so it is a short snippet to tell people what the post is about. This is what shows up in Google search.
I do it before publishing but you can do it after posts are published. Just remember to update.
Let me know if you need more help and Ill try and do screen shots to help you.

I try to use keywords in the description, but not sure exactly of the effectiveness. Correcting has got to be good!
Corrections are good, Sylvia. Any opportunity that is taken to improve on a post is an opportunity to create and deliver even more value.

I would be helpful to fill out the description field as that will help for seo.
Do not check the NOINDEX box though. you want google to index the page and you want to be followed.
