Today was a bit of a challenge, the reason why was because it was a pretty slow day and in this heat that is no good. I wanted to knock out 15 runs by 12pm which is why I was out there by 6:30am. Usually it's such a rush, the mornings and early afternoons get very busy and I lose track of time; however I still had a great day, traffic and pedestrians were a mess as always and I have to be quick and use good judgment and good timing so I don't get run over by a car or knock people over which I have a few times, I guess I got lucky nobody was seriously injured but I know they were in pain. Today I got called a few names, not like it's the first but today I scared quite a few people and got called more names than usual. Asshole, Jerk, Jesus, were just some names I got called today, but I don't mind it, I laugh because it's funny, it's challenging, and it's like a maze, you just have to be quick, agile, and very alert and the adrenalin I get from it is amazing, it's all a part of the job what can I say. I'm just glad I'm home now enjoying a nice cold one while listening to classic rock by The Beatles, Iggy Pop, and now I will spend the rest of my afternoon finishing some training.

It was a pretty hot day. I was out there trying to get a new job and later I went out for a bit of exercise. I lost a few pounds and got sunburned it was all good. :)

Yeah it was humid too, I used to hate searching for jobs during summer, too hot to go on interviews since professional attire is required; not very comfortable walking around with a shirt and tie during hot muggy weather. RIding around the city during summer isn't always easy but I dress comfortable, and like you I am losing even more pounds :P I gained about 8 lbs after surgery so I'm glad it's coming off.

Yeah, job hunting on hot days are the worst but these bills are not waiting for cooler weather. Congrats on your weight loss I just finally reached my goal weight.

No but it's not just about the weather, in general opportunity doesn't knock, I disagree with that. People have to go get it. Opportunities are all out there, and there is a window and we must try to see it and get it before it disappears but it never comes to you if you just walk around blind. It's the signs we have to look into. By the way there are plenty of ways to make money out there, so don't stress too much if you are having trouble finding a job. Just ask yourself, how can I make some income. Also you can apply for part time jobs, it doesn't have to be a career job but anything that will help out even if it's just working weekends at Walgreen's. This way you have more time to work on your other goals, like your business. You can also do freelance work, there are plenty of apps for that and you can do just about anything from web development, accounting, restaurant help, babysitting, pet sitting. I use Postmates, a bike courier app. Also there are apps that can help you increase wealthy such as Acorns, Stash. I use them too one I use for short term investments and the other for long.

Hi Emilio!

Yes you are absolutely correct opportunity don't come to you you have to run after it before someone else get it. To be honest I'm getting a little stress about not getting the job just yet. I'm gonna stop now, you are correct there are many apps and websites that I can earn from so I will definitely give it a go. Thank you for all of the suggestions I will look into them all and figure out how I can earn an income.

Really you have both Acorn and Stash? I've wanted to invest for a bit now however I have no idea how to start. I never want to put my hard earn cash into something without doing my research. From the short amounts of research I have done I prefer Acorn it seems more my speed then stash. I supposed they both are similar it's just a matter of preference. So can you share your experiences with using Acorn? I know as it is an investment you can expect to lose some money but about how much is that? Anything you can share would be appreciated Emilio, thank you.

Francesca

They are both good apps, but Acorns is the best choice for beginners who don't have experience with investing. Try it out, you can find tutorials on youtube, it's so easy to use. You can invest as much as you'd like, I normally do 20 bucks a week, or sometimes at the end of every month I'll invest 60 bucks. My value grows also when I make purchases using my linked debit card. So basically I'm making some money by simply buying something at a store, like a soda, or coffee, and i will double it sometimes so lets say I make .50 cents off my purchase, if I double it they will take 50 more from my bank to make it a dollar, and every time my roundups add to 5 dollars they get invested.

I use Acorns for short term investments, like for trips and other things and Stash for long term. I want to travel to the Philippines sometime in January, then in summer of 2019 I plan to travel to Algeria.

Ok sounds like a plan. :)
