Most definitely Suzette. :) You can build a website directly through the SiteBuilder platform here at Wealthy Affiliate. You will find this within the main menu, under Websites => SiteBuilder. From there you can build websites on both the free .siterubix.com domain (starter or premium member), or on your own domains (if you are a premium member).
This is covered in lesson 4 of the core Online Entrepreneur Certification training, but if you want the direct training on how to build a website I recommend you check out the following training. Absolutely and you can. You will get there as you go through the training, the first focus with your website is to build out the foundation, the content and get rankings. Once you have rankings and traffic then you can focus on what you are going to promote.
There are 10,000's of affiliate programs and millions of products you are going to be able to promote as an affiliate, don't ever worry about there being nothing to promote within a given niche. There will likely be 100's if not 1,000's of things you can promote. ;)
There is no sense in putting to much thought into what you are going to promote until you have content in place and an audience to promote to. You will definitely get there though!
