Retirement - Boomers
If you are retired, or close to retiring, you are in the generation that could do it all! You are one of the BABY BOOMERS!
The great thing about being a BOOMER, is that we believed that we could do ANYTHING! There were no limits for us. In fact, we did it ALL. Look back over the last 30 years and marvel at what our generation did for this planet!
More advances, developments and discoveries were made in the last 30 years than in any other block of time in recorded history.
We should give ourselves a huge pat on the back for that!
I have a challenge for my fellow BOOMERS:
Let's keep on making records for ourselves. Let's become the MOST PRODUCTIVE GROUP OF RETIREES IN HISTORY.
(Why not, we have the time to do it! We have the skills and we know we have the ability!!!!)
Our brains are not dead.
Our skills have not gone stagnate.
Our sense of ability has not tarnished.
We are still the "DOERS" , the "SHAKERS" and the "BELIEVERS".
We KNOW anything is possible.
So let's go down in history as THE MOST PRODUCTIVE GENERATION of all times!!!!!

Technically I'm part of the generation that proceeded the BB generation. I think I was responsible for keeping my father from the WWII draft. I think we're called the Silent Generation and we were and are a much smaller group.
But I like your point of view above and thought I'd give you my 2 cents.
